Josh began his career as a Chartered Accountant, then moved into M&A and investment focused roles executing transactions across a range of industries.
Prior to co-founding Pelagon, Josh was leading M&A projects, minority investments and strategic partnerships for REA Group, helping to advance the company’s global growth agenda.
Highly analytical and commercially minded, Josh brings deep expertise in deal structuring, valuation, negotiation and strategic planning, skills he now applies to building and scaling businesses through Pelagon.

Dave holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne and brings over a decade of experience spanning product management, growth strategy and operations across both high-growth start-ups and ASX-listed enterprises.
Before co-founding Pelagon, Dave held several leadership roles at AGL Energy, including Product Manager, Growth Principal and Operations & Customer Lead, where he helped launch new products, scale digital channels and improve end-to-end customer experience. Earlier, he served as Operations Manager at Splend during its early start-up phase, building the operational playbook that supported the company’s nationwide expansion.
Dave’s strengths lie in designing and executing growth strategies, streamlining operations and leading high-performing teams. A natural motivator, he excels at aligning people around clear goals and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

After closing, we take full-time roles in the business to facilitate a smooth ownership transition.
